We are proud to work with the following partners. Together, our efforts represent important and effective connections that allow us to uncover and fulfill the needs of our community.
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey distributes 44 million pounds of food a year to more than 1,000 nonprofit programs, as well as more than 400 programs served by its partner distribution organizations. More than 4.7 million times a year, someone in need is fed by the Community FoodBank of New Jersey’s network of partner charities. A designated 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest network of food banks, as well as the New Jersey Federation of Food Banks.
In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. At Summit Medical Group Foundation, we work extensively with the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic.
Victor Cruz started the Victor Cruz Foundation in 2012. After touring the White House Science Fair with then-President Barack Obama, he fell in love with the idea and importance of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education. Since then, the foundation has worked to increase the number of underrepresented kids’ interest in careers related to STEM while helping build and reinforce basic core subjects.
